here are some holiday owls!

these may look a lot like the back ground to my blog.. that is strange.

this one i made for all my twitter buddies (there are like 4)

This as you may have guessed, was made for Miranda. Who doesn't like purple as much as she should. (she is one of my twitter buddies.. sometimes there is overlap)

and last but not least, holidays! They make me hate less.

MoCCA part 2

me with Kalmans travel pillow going to NYC.

MoCCA
so i thought i would do a post where i show all the super nice things people i met at MoCCA have said super sweet things about me!

Jimmy Aquino is the nicest person ever we had a crazy good time with him for the MoCCA party, but that's another story! also he said nice things about me! and i got to be on his kick ass pod cast Comic News Insider.

And the Daily News said cool things to!
"One of the most exciting reads from this year's MoCCA Festival is Tory Woollcott's graphic memoir 'Mirror Mind.' It chronicles some of her experiences growing up with dyslexia. Her book also includes a host of resources for those who want to learn more about dyslexia." The Best Comics from the 2010 MoCCA Art Festival

and Sequential (best comic blog in Canada!) talked about me to,

so did Comic Book Resources they said i was one of a list of "talented young cartoonists" this was crazy cuz Megan BeahrLucy Knisley, and Jason Week, and so many of my favorite artist are on that list and I'm all, holy crap, I'm on a list with them, this has made me smile.

MoCCA ROCKS!
i had too much fun

NYC part 1

SO I went to NYC for the MoCCA festival, and it was pretty much the best thing ever I when with my studio mate Eric and our friends Deryk and Mara. The buss ride down to NYC was fun, mostly cuz there were some crazy 'girlz', who said things like "we spik-ie the ing-rish on this buzz-ass" and "we-ra-gonna be class-y not trash-y" they were the best thing ever. they would also sing that Empire State of Mind song, now i'm more of a Galactic Empire State of Mind, but is still made for an entertaining buss ride. We also had some truple getting over the border with our books, but after they looked at mine they seemed to realize we were not "taking anything of monetary value into the US' :S First thing I do when I get to NYC? get my ass a cupcake. Then I take a bunch of photos of these crazy signs telling us where the fall out shelters are at. good to know.
